The pistachio plant, typical of the flora of the Etna park, grows spontaneous and luxuriant on the slopes of the volcano. The reddish fruits contain tender and green seeds with a sweet and delicate flavor. This rosolio is obtained with an exquisitely artisanal procedure, using the green "heart" of the pistachio, according to the indications of an ancient recipe. Rosolio should be served fresh as a dessert and is exquisite on sweets and pistachio ice cream.
